GREENSBORO CHRISTMAS PARADE:
Wet streets and cold temperatures did not deter crowds from lining Sunset Avenue in Greensboro for the December 5th Greensboro Christmas parade. Church members manned or own float, sang carols and gently tossed candy to children along the parade route. Following the parade, which ended at the old carnival grounds, we all regrouped at Wheatley Hall to relive the adventure.

This Halloween, St. Paul's had a great time after turning Wheatley hall into THE UNHAUNTED HALL, a place where trick-or-treaters and their parents could get some candy, have some fun and learn about what we do here at St. Paul's. It was estimated that at least three hundred people went through Wheatley Hall between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
WITHIN CAROLINE COUNTY Members of St. Paul's are often visible, through a number of Fellowship, Outreach and Mission programs. Some of these we have at our own church, and others to which we contribute monetarily. Some are services we offer to the community through the use of our facilities and member volunteers.
- COMMUNITY SOUP NIGHT, in Wheatley Hall on the first Wednesday of each month, 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
- GIVING GRACE FOOD PANTRY, based at Trinity United Methodist Church in Goldsboro. The food pantry provides food for needy families in the northern half of Caroline County, through donations and volunteer efforts which include members of St. Paul's. Trinity is one of three churches in our circuit.
- GREENSBORO LION'S CLUB, in Wheatley Hall, second and fourth Tuesday evenings each month. The Greensboro Lion's Club has called Wheatley Hall their home since first being chartered in 1938.
- AA MEETINGS, in Wheatley Hall.
- FUNERAL DINNERS AND GATHERINGS The northern half of Caroline County uses St. Paul's as a gathering place at times of grief, in the sanctuary and in Wheatley Hall.
- WEDDINGS and RECEPTIONS
- GIRL SCOUTS
- MOVIE NIGHTS
As in our own community, we as Christians and Methodists believe that we show our Christian Love and caring through helping others around the world. Through fundraisers, our offerings and activities, we provide funds for many projects throughout the world. Through UMCOR, The United Methodist Committee on Relief, help and caring is given to many. Like all Methodist churches, we give to UMCOR as one way to show our Christian Love and compassion for others.
We also give to other missions around the country and around the world, sharing Jesus' Love across the planet. These include:
